More Room
The Endeavour is the biggest mini jet boat kit that is available in Custom Craft Minijets’ lineup coming in at 14 foot. The additional size is important for several reasons.
For one thing, more room means you can bring more mates with you. A smaller mini jet boat such as the Descent is ideal for racing, but will max out at holding two people. If you would rather pile in a few more guests, your esky, or your fishing gear, the Endeavours the one.
With that being said, even though it’s 4 feet bigger than the Descent and 2.5 feet bigger than the Prospector, the Endeavour is still very easy to handle. We still back it in as a kit built for racing, if that’s something you would be keen on doing. But, the extra size means it’s more versatile for a leisurely cruise, if that’s more your thing. The added space makes it a bit more comfortable if you want to spend more time on it or have a day of towing the ski biscuit behind it.
Finally, the bigger size means the Endeavour can also handle a bit more swell than the two smaller versions. So, if you plan on getting out a touch further, we would suggest considering the bigger model.
Customisable
The great thing about the Endeavour (as with all of the models) is that you have a ton of customisation you can choose from. The standard kit comes with the ability to change up the engine cover (flat, single hump or twin raised), rear platform (bar work, swim deck or none) as well as three different windscreen types (basic, classic or fisherman).
